BERNT LORENTZ GmbH & Co. KG is specialised in solar-operated pump systems and considered one of the leading manufacturers in the field. Founded in 1993 in Hamburg, Germany, LORENTZ today has more than 150 employees and is represented in more than 100 countries. Our local service partners maintain a close link to the customer and guarantee professional support, installation and maintenance.
LORENTZ provides solar water pump systems, solar tracking systems and photovoltaic modules as well as all related hydraulic and electronic components.
The pump portfolio spans a nominal power range from 0.15 kW to 21 kW, covering lifts of up to 350 m and flow rates of up to 130 m3/h. Steady research ensures continuous development of the products. Our submersible pump systems are deployed e.g. in drinking water provision and treatment and in agriculture. LORENTZ surface pump systems are predominantly used as circulating pump in swimming pools and ponds and in filter systems.

Having monitored the growing wind industry for many years, Gordon identified the need for a robust wind turbine capable of peak performance in high winds - even in hurricanes and typhoons.
Gordon's aim was to develop a unique blade design to combat the high wind shut down that other turbines experience. This blade design would allow the blades to pitch and cone to adjust aerodynamic efficiencies in high winds. Proven Energy wind turbines are able to generate power in all wind conditions completely eliminating turbine 'shut down'.
Marlec was formed in 1978 in Rutland – the smallest county in the UK – by our founder John Fawkes who subsequently received a Wind Energy Pioneer award from the British Wind Energy Association. As an early-retired successful engineer and businessman he was asked to investigate methods of keeping batteries topped up on farms to operate electric fence units located away from the grid.
